Artist Statement

"My expression, which is based on the accumulation of what I perceive to be the real world, is displayed through figurative form, geometrical cuts, and symbolized by color.

When the synthesis of light and shade is complete, the meaning acquired doesn't belong to me but to the individual that feels the emotion that hides within the piece.

To attain character and enhance emotion in my work I use raku technique combined with other materials such as glass, wood, cement, and metal."
