Biography

Swava Launay was born in Poland. She studied literature at the University of Krakow and later at the Sorbonne in Paris. She lives in Mougins, South France where she devotes her time to her work. Swava's style can be called contemporary tapestry, falling midway between patchwork and pure weaving.
